This is a great opportunity to work in, and make a real, practical contribution to the growth and development of this wholesale cosmetic and skin care distributor and online retailer. Reporting to the Managing Director of this exciting young Company, tasks and responsibilities will be focussed on:

• the design, setup and running of a number of e-commerce stores and transactional websites from the ground up
• the design, functionality and process development of a growing business
• Working from a professional, small office
• Hours of work 37.5 per week.
• You will be expected to assist with everything and anything in our team - including online research, blogging, packing boxes, testing product and much much more.

Essential requirements:

• Fluent English - written & spoken
• Good German language skills & other EU languages very beneficial
• Web & graphic design experience
• Knowledge/experience of PHP & mySQL
• Knowledge/experience of HTML & JavaScript - AJAX & DHTML
• Practical IT skills / Win XP / Linux / Networking (LAMP, WAMP)
• Any eCommerce / shopping cart - osCommerce platform & PayPal Pro, Joomla, vTiger, Open Source
• Knowledge of SEO techniques

Desirable attributes:

• (.Net 2 & MS platform development skills valuable, SDKs, ActiveX)
• Innovative and enthusiastic
• Flexible, adaptable, reliable and independent
• Experience in a similar role or environment will help though not essential.
• SSL installation & configuration an advantage

Remuneration details:

• A travel allowance of £100 per month will be provided to assist with costs.
